Job description:


We are looking for Professional Safety Advisors for work several Data Centers in the Northern Virginia and Richmond, VA Areas.

The full-time advisors performing work to fulfill the Safety Services Advisor position will provide a wide variety of services to Construction client.


  • CHST Certification required.
  • OSHA 500 required.
  • First Aid/ CPR/ AED Training Certification
  • Data Center work experience desired, but not required.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:


1. Combination of training (Safety Technician Level as minimum) and construction experience with at least 5 years of full time Safety duties.


2. Ability to interpret, and apply in practice, relevant information from all codes, standards, regulations, Federal and State laws, and all other applicable regulatory documents.


3. Strong Interpersonal skills, able to talk to large crowds at Safety Meetings if needed.


4. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude. The advisor must be able to energize and lead, and be able to instill leadership qualities in others, including contractors.


5. Demonstration of self-initiating behavior including interjection into processes as necessary for the betterment of the safety program.


6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Access, Outlook, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint.


7. Effective presentation skills.


8. Effective communication skills. The advisor must be able to communicate across all levels, from contractor craftsperson to upper management.


9. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude. The advisor must be able to energize and lead, and be able to instill leadership qualities in others.


10. Demonstration of self-initiating behavior including interjection into processes as necessary for the betterment of the safety program.



• Understanding of the importance of exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.



Occasional responsibilities may include providing safety coverage on construction projects.


-Assist with safety pre-qualification of contractors and sub-contractors.

-Safety newsletters.

-Quarterly reports to show accomplishments for client.

-Analyze accident and injury trends to develop accident prevention programs.

-Perform Loss Control Audits for insurance clients.


-Assist clients during OSHA Compliance Inspections (accompany compliance officers, attend opening and closing meetings (if applicable), and assist client in preparation for informal conferences. Prepare and proofread written safety programs for General Industry and Construction clients.


-Assist in the Development of Written Safety Programs.


This is a Hourly Position and Overtime work is expected for the most part of our projects.


Pay rate is based on Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Certifications.

We are looking for a Part-time Safety Inspector to supplement the Safety Inspection Services Department for the Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC Areas.


This position requires own transportation to visit several sites located in our geographical area of service.


Knowledgeable Professional with ample experience in a wide variety of Construction Operations.

Able to walk around rough terrain, climb scaffolding, stairs and ladders.


Have the interpersonal skills to communicate with the workforce at every level of our clients organizations.
